Changing paths

After Saint-Jean d'Angély in 2007, Niort in 2008 and Poitiers in 2009, the 2010 International Summer University will be held in Poitiers, at the Espace Mendès France and in many different locations across the city, from September 27th to September 30th.

As its previous editions, this international university aims at underlining the importance of several challenges, to be considered as possible paths toward change. Through an innovating perspective, mixing political decisions and scientific reflections, the debates will focus on the issue “changing path”. However, this term must be considered as a problem and not as a solution in itself. That is why during the debates the researchers, the decision-makers and all the participants, each one with her/his background and experiences, will have to consider these issues as processes of reflection –the reflection circles- that would lead to processes of transformation.
